OTR CHAMBER TO ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS TO SAFELY SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES

WHAT: The Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce and its board of directors will host an outdoor, masks-on, media conference to announce unique and safe ways to support small businesses in OTR this holiday season. They will share outdoor holiday events that will provide a unique holiday experience while shopping locally, highlight new businesses that opened in 2020 during a pandemic and offer ways the community can support beloved OTR businesses and vendors.

WHO: The following OTR stakeholders will make brief remarks to share the many safe and enjoyable ways patrons can support local businesses and why it’s needed now more than ever:

  • Kelly Adamson, Executive Director of OTR Chamber of Commerce
  • Rachel Felous, Owner of Simply Zero, a new OTR business opening on black Friday
  • Christy Samad, 3CDC Senior Vice President of Event Management
  • Catherine Manabat and Julia Petiprin, co-owners, Homemakers Bar
  • Gina Regan, Development Manager, Corporation for Findlay Market
  • Toncia Chavez, owner, ETC Produce
  • Andrew Salzbrun Managing Partner at Agar who will discuss Found Cincinnati

The speakers, along with additional small business owners, will be available for media interviews after the event, in-person, over the phone/ Zoom, or a location of your choosing. Free coffee will be on-site courtesy of Urbana Café.

WHEN: Wednesday November 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Speakers will begin at 10:15 a.m., and will be available for interviews at 10:45 a.m.  Please RSVP to Amy Yokel, [email protected] to let us know if you will be attending.
