No Trepass Sign Program

In August 2003, OTRCC initiated the ‘No Trespass Sign” program to assist residents, property owners, businesses and the police to rid our neighborhoods of unwanted non-residents who are trespassing selling drugs and purchasing drugs, vandalizing property, committing robbery and engaging in prostitution.

Notification signs are distributed and prominently displayed on the property of over 900 properties in accordance with ordinance, revised code 2911.21.  NCR Forms are supplied to the District One Police Department for use in warning of and eventually the arrest of trespassers.

Property owners and building locations are added and reported to the District One Police Department.  Letters denoting the District One Police Department as an agent for the property owner are maintained on file.

The No Trespass Program enables the Cincinnati Police to arrest unwanted trespassers on private property, most of whom do not live in Over-the-Rhine but come to Over-the-Rhine to commit crimes.  This program reduces the number of persons coming into and loitering the area for illicit purposes, thus reducing criminal activity.  Residents and business owner now have a restored security.

If you would like to participate in the program, download the form below and return to the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce.
