Hoxworth Blood Center has been saving lives in the Tri-State since 1938. Currently, Hoxworth needs to collect 450 units of blood and platelets each day. Hoxworth serves more than 30 area hospitals and medical centers and collects more than 90,000 units of blood products annually to help save the lives of patients in area hospitals.
