Pendleton Neighborhood Council Meeting

Place: School for the Creative and Performing Arts, 1310 Sycamore Street, Over-the-Rhine
Description: Please spend an evening in Pendleton - taking in one of our amazing historic strutures - the Woodward High School which currently houses the world-renowned School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA). The evening will begin with a brief introduction to Pendleton by David White, a quick history of the area by Pendleton resident Chuck Downton, and a tour of the building by SCPA Artistic Director Dr. Isidor Rudnick. The tour will be followed by a discussion with representatives from the Department of Community Development focusing on solutions to address blight, vacant structures, landlord issues, and the like. Ed Cunningham, Supervisor of Existing Building Inspections, and Jennifer Walke, Community Development and Planning Analyst will be on hand to discuss these matters and available funding programs from their office. Second Sunday on Main

Description: If it looks, tastes, sounds and smells like a street festival, it must be a street festival, right? Yes, and more.
Second Sunday on Main is an economic development engine disguised as the city's coolest urban street festival offering entertainment by crowd-pleasing local bands on the CityBeat music stage, a samba parade, a Christian Moerlein beer garden, vendors, artists, foods by celebrity chefs and even a dog parade.
